Flycell, a NY company, billed me $20 a month on my cell phone bill for four months (total $80). By the time I tracked down who was billing me, I contacted them and told them I never asked for or received any service from them (I don't even know what they do) and asked for a refund. They refused. I filed a complaint with the BBB of NY and they were unsuccessful in getting my money back. They said they have a large amount of complaints about this company and, in fact, they have an article about Flycell on their website.

Just contacted sprint and they took care of the flycell charge. They are also blocking 3rd party download/spam so my daughter won't be able to do this again.

I was trying to get a free ringtone, like many others....I entered my cell phone #, like instructed, and they texted a pin number. I never entered it on the web, but I tried to text back to cancel, and was texted back saying there was no active subscription, so does that mean I will not be billed? Please help anyone???

I put my phone number in to receive a free ringtone. After doing this i realized they give you credits and you dont even get this free ringtone i automatically unsubscribed thinking that was the end of it. i just received my phone bill and there was a charge for 69999 $9.99. i never agreed to sign up for anything and i was still charged. I did send a text to cancel and received one back saying i successfully unsubscribed but i will not be getting a refund for the 9.99.

They lure you in with a "free ring tone" and do not supply any terms or conditions, will not refund anything back to you, and they're a bunch of jerks on the phone. I only realized I was going to be charged something when I happen to see at the very bottom of the text a random 9.99.

It took five minutes to find the "unsubscribe" button on the web, after my text to cancel never acknowledged.

I ended up calling my cell company and having them request a refund. I refuse to pay them anything.

I've been looking for new ringtones on Verizon Wireless, and I wandered on to the Flycell website. I found a voice ringtone I thought was hilarious, that Verizon Wireless only had as a ringback. I really wanted it as my ringtone. I almost put my phone number in.....when I remembered my coworker saying how some websites charge you $10.00 a month while we were discussing buying ringtones online. I played it smart and googled "Is Flycell a scam" and sure enough...complaint after complaint after complaint. I almost gave them my number! :eek

Flycell is the real scam. Stay away.

Best way is file a dispute to your credit card company and reverse it from there.

Comments on Flycell.com billed me $80 for nothing and won't refund.
